Paging all Halloween freaks: The big day is almost here! To celebrate, Zeus CrowdFunding is inviting all of its friends to party for a great cause: The Fanatical Change Foundation. Whether you prefer a costume or cocktail attire, join us Friday, October 27, for the foundation’s annual bash at BBVA Compass Stadium: Carnival Freak Show!

The Fanatical Change Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to restore the intimacy in charitable giving by allowing the power behind their individual stories to inspire donors to be the change they wish to see in the world. It is the passion project of Zeus CrowdFunding Founder and Chief Acceleration Officer Steven Kaufman.

Mr. Kaufman was moved by the widespread devastation caused by Hurricane Ike in 2008. Witnessing the destruction first hand, he felt compelled to reach out to members of his community.

“There were a lot of families that, by no fault of their own, were in really desperate situations,” Mr. Kaufman says. “I realized that I was in a position to really do something. It was then I knew that it was time for me to ‘get over myself’ and start caring about other people. I wanted to be a part of the change that I wanted to see in the world.”

Mr. Kaufman and his friend Juan Cuevas set out to find a way to raise money with an annual event, giving 100% to those in need. Experts said it couldn’t be done. But people really can change the world… one family at a time. Since 2008, the Fanatical Change Foundation has donated 100% of the money it has raised to more than 100 Houston-area families.

In 2017, all the money raised by Carnival Freak Show will go to feed homeless Houston schoolchildren and their families on Thanksgiving in partnership with Fiesta and Houston Independent School District. Everyone who attends Houston’s largest Halloween party will be contributing directly to this cause. There will be food, drinks, auction items, contests, and more inside the posh club level of Houston’s newest professional sports stadium, BBVA Compass Stadium.
